Castelmola Castelmola is a small medieval village, and there are steps to reach the Mother Church. People who can’t walk too far can wait at the little square where the bus drops the group off, and enjoy a coffee or a gelato with a view. Taormina Once in Taormina, if you bus will enter the parking station, elevators are available to reach the city center from the parking. Other than that, the historic center develops along Corso Umberto, the main street of Taormina, which is flat with no steps. The Greek-Roman Amphitheater Visit to the Greek Theater will be the last portion of the guided visit. To reach the Greek-Roman Theater there is a little extra walking involved, along an uphill street. Moreover, to fully appreciate the view from the Theater it is necessary to walk a lot of steps inside the monument to reach the highest point. If you are travelling in the summer time with elderly people, this may not be ideal for you. In this case, consider booking our basic Taormina and Castelmola tour. Entry tickets are not included, but your tour guide will be happy to bring you there in your free time to buy the tickets and help you to skip the line. Kindly note that accessibility to the monument is guaranteed to people with mobility issues through a ramp to visit the lowest part of the Theater, but not the point of view on top of it.
