Superstitious Sicilians

Sicilians are, by nature, a superstitious race. To bring good luck there are often horn-shaped charms and other objects, usually religious, to be found in their cars.
Even in their every day life, Sicilians seem to automatically trust more in fate, or destiny, than in their own abilities.
Saints, madonnas, and various other good-luck charms all help to enrich the days in Sicily – silent witnesses to a way of life that will certainly intrigue its foreign visitors.
